This website contains topics that may be of interest to my patients and my students(especially those with upcoming exams!).  Sometimes the information here can be used to reinforce what is discussed during the consultation with me or what I have taught. However the posts here does not constitute medical advice – merely information on selected topics in medicine or surgery as recalled by myself(a working general surgeon). Also the information here may not be the very  latest – new discoveries are being made across the many  fields of medicine all the time.
